When Lynx Professional Grills started in 1996, the company was committed to elevating outdoor cooking to new levels. At that time, outdoor cooking meant only barbecue grills. Their products were - and are - engineered to stand up to heavy use and the test of time using design elements that are needed for outdoor kitchen products that must endure extreme weather conditions. The Lynx Professional Grill is made of stainless steel and is manufactured using a special welding technique to ensure that the grill has no gaps or seams where moisture and grease can collect. It is available in five models (built-in and free standing), ranging in size from 27 to 54 inches. With continuous innovation a hallmark of the company, Lynx's design engineers have continually introduced a long list of firsts to the industry. Some examples are Lynx's hood assist kit, which makes lifting and lowering the grill's hood effortless; the Lynx ProSear variable infrared burner for cooking at high and low temperatures; and the use of cast brass burners for holding and radiating high temperatures.
